Eiffel Tower Tickets when Sold Out

Eiffel Tower Tickets when Sold Out

There are several places to look to get Eiffel Tower Tickets when sold out. Whilst Eiffel Tower tickets with access to the summit tend to get sold out weeks in advance, there are several places to check that might just have last minute tickets. There are various different types of tickets for sale, ranging from the basic entrance access to tours that include other additional sights and attractions. We recommend looking carefully through all the suggestions below.

Option 1:

The first place to check is here. This site is a kind of marketplace for different sellers of Eiffel Tower tickets. Some of the products are just entrance tickets, either with second floor access or summit level access. Other tickets include additional products, like a tour along the Seine or dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Of course, the cheaper products will get sold out first, and you can expect to pay anything up to 99 euros for a ticket, depending on the season. Make sure to check out the product reviews, so you know exactly what you are buying.

Option 2:

The second place to look is here. This site, Expedia, is similar to Option 1 and is a platform for a whole load of different resellers to market their Eiffel Tower tickets. A lot of the products will be the same as option 1, but you might find a reseller that uses Viator exclusively. Again, the reviews are a very good guide as to what you will get, as each product will offer something slightly different, but there’s definitely a chance of finding a last minute ticket for the Eiffel Tower summit here, when other places are sold out.

Option 3:

The third place to check is hereExclusive to the Tiqets platform, these tickets include a visit to the summit and sometimes they do have last minute Eiffel Tower tickets, sometimes they don’t – but its worth a shot!

Option 4:

The fourth option is to go to the Eiffel Tower on the day and wait in line. You’ll find information about this on the official Eiffel Tower website. You’ll have to wait in line for a while…. you could be lucky and it takes 30 minutes, or unlucky and it takes 1 hour or more… If you do decide to queue up on the day, you’ll have the option of buying a ticket using the lift directly up to the summit from the ground floor, or buying a combo ticket for the stairs and then lift to the summit.

What to Expect:

The Eiffel Tower is to Paris what the Statue of Liberty is to New York – the most famous and iconic image of the city. Built for the Paris Exposition in 1899, the cities residents at the time famously hated it, and wanted this ‘monstrosity’ to go! But thankfully it stayed, and grew to become one of the most loved monuments in the world – which is why tickets get sold out so far in advance!
The Eiffel Tower is split into three levels. Level 1 gives you quite a good view over the city… there’s a really cool glass floor that you walk on, and all the wall are of course made of glass. There are also some interactive displays, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
Things get even more interesting on Level 2 of the Eiffel Tower. The view starts to become even more spectacular, and you’ll be able to see iconic city landmarks like the Seine River. But you haven’t been spending all this time searching the internet only to find tickets that get you to Level 2! Because Level 3 awaits, but you’ll need those special sold out tickets to reach it….
THE TOP OF THE EIFFEL TOWER! Hooray you’ve made it 276 metres up to the top of the worlds most famous tower. Breathtaking views await, its outdoors so you’ll get to smell the fresh Parisien air, and there’s even a Champagne bar to forget what a hassle it was trying to find last minute Eiffel Tower tickets, and just enjoy the view!
